What kind of Sonic is this?!

At the official Chevy site Sonics still come in LS, LT, LTZ trims but at the three dealership sites here in California that i checked the 2013s are in SA, SB, SC, SD, SF and SG trims. What' up wit dat??
By the way, leftover 2012s are still LS, LT and LTZ on those sites.

I have no real knowledge of the 2013 models but is there a option for mylink or is it now standard? If its optional I could see that as each step up of the sonic with and without mylink but other than that i'm stumped. Or they just poorly keep there site correctly updated.

My RS is listed on the dealer site as a 1sg. The others are listed with the terms you said. I'll couldn't see the badges on the cars to compare which was what.

As far as I could tell just now they have a sedan with fogs and steel wheels with covers and the 1.8 listed as a 1sb. There are two 1sd listed one sedan one hatch both are LT 1.4.

Just looked at my dealers page and seems to be the same with the odd new listings. Figured out that 1SA were all autos non turbo. 1SB were all manual non turbo. 1SC were all turbo manual i believe, and 1SD were auto turbo's. The 1SE's and F's and G's did not have any images so I am guessing they are RS's in same auto/manual - Turbo/non turbo order?

Edited I did find a pick of a 1SH and it is a RS so guessing E,F,G,H are the same pattern but for the RS model.

Different way of referring to the trim levels and whether the trim is an auto or a manual. The fifth character in the VIN identifies the trim, both 2012 and 2013, and uses the letters. The G would be for the auto RS and H for the manual RS. In 2012, not in the VIN, the numbers 1 and 2 were used to identify manual vs automatic transmissions. ie: 1LS and 2LS, 1LT and 2LT and 1LZ and 2LZ.

Those are the RPO codes the dealer uses to order the cars, they only let you see them so you can ask if they have one on the lot.

Sounds to me like some governmentese to confuse the public.
The local Chevy store lists the 1SA as having an automatic tranny. It seems even the dealerships are confused. Mission acomplished.
