What parts from the Trax can we use to upgrade our cars?

Since its a platform-mate, I'd be curious to see what fits our cars!

you can have the front brake upgrade from the trax platform.
same as the buick encore.
the trax front brakes are 300mm vs our sonic's 276mm.

this is what i did, still waiting for the brakets and bolts, the rotors and pads i allready got.

look in the forum for the encore brakes swap thred for more detailes.


all the other parts from the trax\encore platform, are the same as sonic so no major things o have.

I use my Sonic as a cargo vehicle and have always lamented not having a passenger seat similar to that of the Fit.

Sure looks like the same seat design, with small differences in the covering design. Armrest looks like it's the same size & shape as the Sonic to me.

It'll be interesting in time to see what interchanges in these seats. In the Saturn S-Series, I've been able to swap the seatback frames in order to put lumbar adjustment in passenger seats, which was only ever offered in drivers' seats. Most of the seat parts swap around like legos. (I never bothered with swapping the seat base adjustability, as it would've required cutting, welding, and possibly fabricating unique parts.) Of course, the S-Series seats didn't have airbags in them either...

There's a chance that the tilt mechanism in the passenger seat may be designed as a separate part that could be swapped directly onto Sonic seats. We won't know until someone can get their hands on some & do some dissecting. We'll probably know a lot sooner if it looks like the seat mounting looks the same to allow for full seat swaps between Trax and Sonic.
