Will wife notice the Trifecta tune?

I got the trifecta tune at the recent sale, and have not yet installed it but did download the files and read up on how to do it. I was going to tell my wife it was for "us" for christmas...but I'm rethinking that approach...Figured maybe I'll just install it and not say anything. Do y'all think she'll notice?

She's not a racer or anything but based on my many years of marriage and using DIC MPG on various cars I know she's more leadfooted than I am in daily driving...

wondering if I could just tell her its because we have colder weather lately or put premium fuel in or something.

Only because the tune likes to provide you with lots of torque on minuscule accelerator pedal input.

I could tell upgrading from the budget tune to the new version of it. She will definitely be able to tell.

I'm thinking I"ll need an assortment of "her" gifts to offset this "his" oriented gift that I may say is for "us" but not sure she'll see it that way! Especially when she sees the invoice on our credit card statement ! I already have the DDM rear stabilizer, shifter bushings and mud flaps under the tree!!

I can't answer any of those questions...

But I like the idea of not saying anything rather than its for us... Easier to fix a bumper than a relationship

It's a very noticeable effect on the car. The tune turns the sonic into a tiny monster once you give it the roids it should have had from the factory to begin with.

the newest elite tune might not be as noticeable, it doesn't have the same kick that the older tunes do. it's smoother, almost n/a kinda smooth

Just say it was a software update from GM. Added bonus of the update was increased fuel economy which of course is money saved.

The newest tune is MUCH smoother than the older tune and it is definitely noticeable! I am loving it more than the older tune.
