I am going to be attempting to wire a ZL1 camaro wheel into my 1.8 Auto sonic. I am going to also wire up the paddles for the transmission.
What I need to know however, is the number of pins/channels going in and out of the clockspring used on the sonic and also the ZL1.
Next, a wiring diagram of the steering wheel controls for a ZL1 automatic with transmission controls, and a sonic 1.8 auto.
Finally, I need to see how the gear selectors (especially the type of switch the sonic has on the gear stick) are wired up in the ZL1 and the sonic.
I know I'm gonna have to rebuild some connectors, but I'd like to make sure that it's compatible ( like does each paddle on the ZL1 have a +/- terminal and a ground?, and does the little switch on the sonic also have the same?)...
Anyway, I've tried a couple different dealerships and a bunch of sites online claiming to have wiring schematics but I've found nothing useful... Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
