You got me all excited now! I didn't see it on their site . What are they claiming this bad boy will make to the wheels?

Is this ZZP's answer to the GTX?

Yeah for only 1,000 bucks though... also the 200 hp is cause they are going light with boost. They always do to be safe at first. I’m the first to have this as a test and review. That way they can get this up for their Black Friday sale hopefully. So we will be in the works with getting all of the tuning worked out. Once we get to a point where we feel good then we’ll turn it up.

Also this is more so the “answer” to the GT2056” I think. So with what we’re hoping to come with is 210-220 hp and 230 tq.

I’ll keep you all updated and let you know what the numbers look like. I can tell you how it feels.... great! It sounds amazing very crisp bypass sound. Very very aggressive spool. I’m am excited to see where the numbers go.

I’m not familiar with their turbo setup(s) is the 2056 the same as the GTX?

Honestly, whatever vendor you use, a dead reliable 200whp on is pretty solid. I know some people want to go "big", but that market is pretty limited on this chassis.

Anxiously await to see your results, and then decide which way I want to go on my car.

I appreciate your outlook and point of view. I will let you know what the numbers are. I’ll tell you this it feels fantastic. I’m not a good butt hp estimator. But, my bro has a 2008 civic si with 50k miles. And I took that race if that makes you feel good, I know it makes me feel good lol.

No a gt2056 is not the same. What BNR & ZZP are doing is sending out the stock turbo and having the compressor cover machined to accept a bigger wheel in the gt10 series. i.e. if you have a gt12 a lot of times the compressor cover is the same as a gt14 so they machine it out to accept the gt14 wheel. If not the same there is extra material that can be sacrificed. They also may be moddifing the turbine wheel as well.

This is is exactly what I did with my gt2056. I sent it out and selected a larger wheel from the gt20 series. I went from the standard 41.5 wheel to a 44mm wheel. That is inducer diameter.

Below is a link they could possibly using the wheel from. The gt1548.
Inducer is 37.2mm

Turbocharger Specs: GT15

To be quite honest, anyone can call up a turbo shop, explain the situation, and ask for options. They'll say you can go with x, y, or z. You would save money, but you dont have the luxury of the tune without BNR.
