Default 2017 tail lights on a 2014?

I wonder.......will the 2017 tail lights fit on the 2014? hopefully they mount up the same and i can get rid of these boring stock lights.

From pics I've seen they look like they should.

I'm gonna say yes, since it's easier to change a plastic light than to redo a metal press. Car stamping presses are huge....plastic injection molds are far easier to change.

I'm ready to make my prediction. I think we will find that a taillight swap only fits properly if done in conjunction with a rear bumper swap. It may not fit at all otherwise, or it may just be a bit off. The curvature where the two meet looks different.

the new taillight assembly is about 1 inch shorter leaving a gap at the bottom.

The connectors are probably not the same since your looking at incandescent bulbs versus LED. The LED bulbs will throw a bulb out fault since they draw less current. As far as fitment goes you have to physically look at both of them side by side.
