Turn off window auto open sensor

Is there a way to turn off the auto open sensor for the driver's side window? If something hits the window, it will go back down. Can this feature be turned off? Thanks!

Do you mean when the window is auto going up and something (like a finger) comes up against it so it goes back down, in order to prevent smashing your finger? Or do you mean when you depress the switch fully it auto's down?

Yes...when something comes up against it, it goes down. Can this be disabled somehow?

It can be re taught if needed.

I believe its a safety thing. Probably difficult to disable.

When the window motor is disconnected, most times you have to relearn the window express up/down feature. So if you just disconnect your window motor and reconnect it, you may disable the feature. Your express down and up will not work at all, and you will get a message on the DIC.

No way I can see to just disable the anti pinch feature.

You can't find it because you're over riding a system designed to stop the window from injuring someone. Good luck with your search to disable safety systems.
