I had mine done by ss2000slp. He did it at the shop he works at using a snapon modis or solus. It is just a reflash of the computer that only took 2 min but he needed to get a 2 day subscription to gm tech link and used an RS vin to download the software. I'm not sure if the tech II is still the current scanner/programmer for gm or if its what the dealer would use since I haven't worked at a dealership or on cars in 15+ years.
