Water on floorboard

Ok, so I have had this issue twice. Both times it is after a really heavy rain with high winds. I have a 2012 LTZ hatch and after said storms, I have found a small puddle of water on my passenger floormat. The first time, both me and my dad search the car for wet spots trying to figure out where the water might be coming from and we found nothing and the water is only on the floor, there is nothing on the seats or door. I figured maybe it might be the sunroof but if that was the issue, wouldn't there be water on the seats? Does anyone have an idea as to what the issue might be?

If I recall this was a issue with some '12's. If I remember correctly the water was coming in through the cold air Inlet in the cowl of the car. Check the rubber seal on the cowl/windshield and make sure there are no gaps between the 2.
