    Jim,

Thank you for your response about the tow gear. I'm new here and thought I sent a response. Well I wrote it...some how never sent it. I tried for about ten minutes to send again today directly from your mail and it wouldn't send it, that's how I ended up in add a friend.

I've gotten a quote for installing the Blue Ox base plate. I was surprised the adapters for the Roadmaster tow bar are almost 200 bucks. I may get a quote for a Roadmaster base plate to save the money.

I did buy the Trifecta canned tune. The best milage prior to the tune was 36 mpg...driving at about 40mph. The night the distributor loaded my tune I got 41.9 driving home. Since then I've learned if I don't exceed 51 mph and don't run my air I've gotten as high as 43.6...it's amazing little car. Thank you for your input.
    Hi,
My name is Bill. Enjoyed your pictures, especially tow gear.

We just purchased a 2014 Sonic hatchback that we plan towing behind our RV. I was curious as who's tow gear and base plate you are using. We had a 2000 Cavalier which we just sold. We towed it with a Roadmaster All terrain tow bar. We were using a Brakemaster 9000 for the brakes on the Cavalier. On our last trip to the east coast we burned the front brakes off the Cavalier from Colorado to St. Louis. Any input wit regard brake system for the Sonic would be appreciated. One last question, our car is still relatively new, and I've already loaded the Trifecta tune...which helped, but even with the tune after 1500 miles, the best MPG attainable to date has been 35.9...and I was working hard to get that.
i really can't tell from your photos but how noticeable are the tow bars? was your dealership able to hook it up for you?
