Excellent! I can't wait to hear what they say. Hopefully we will be able to admire each other's new wheels at ICC '14. Hoping to attract some more sonics to meet up there.
I'm pretty sure I used a wrench on the top side (engine side) and a long socket, long extension and my cordless impact gun. If you can't get them started with your impact use a breaker bar to get them started.
All you should need is a jack, jack stand, wheel chock, and common tools (wrench, socket and rachet set) and that's about it. Some soapy water or WD-40 will help remove the hangers.
It rides great.. compared to our Lancer with it's sport suspension ( which beats u to death), the Eibach springs ride amazing.. I've also noticed a considerable increase in by MPG.. but, qually important, it looks damn good
Not around the city. When your on the interstate it gets loud. Say if you are passing around 70ish. Other than that I haven't seen any flaws nor heard.
There is a big difference from when I had it straight piped! I took the exhaust off for a bit to just get a feel for the sound. Gave it that straight pipe tractor sound, didnt care to much for that. This muffler gave it a low low sound up to like 4k then starts to get raspy, but I have a 12 second Honda to so I don't mind the sound. Ricepower. It's not the normal Honda though. I love the sound and I've noticed a big difference in performance. My RPMs climb faster and seems to acc better. But I don't have my second cat and res that may help some. Stock piping sucked.
They haven't contacted me yet. The other guy said they finished his 1.4 and he should have his intake in about a month. So I'm assuming they're still working on the 1.8
