The end result is definitely worth figuring this out. Maybe with two brains we can get to the bottom of it.

I think I used the 12x24, but I pieced my fogs and the grille together. I think that is becoming an issue because I can see where I matched the lines up. I plan on redoing it all this spring. The vinyl on the doors shrunk in the heat, however it didn't anywhere else.. I tried really heating and stretching the next batch on the door strips and it shrunk worse. I am at a loss, but am going to try again on the doors with virtually no heat shrinkage or stretch. It's been hit and miss, but I like the look too much to not keep at it. I've tested products like duplicolor black chrome, another similar product, and plastidip smoke, nothing even remotely close to the class the vinyl gives... it's a love/hate relationship.

I got the vinyl from another place. The dark smoke is too much, it doesn't let enough of the chrome look through for my taste. I used the lighter color. There is a link in my thread about it here http://www.sonicownersforum.com/forum/exterior-modifications/7078-another-option-your-chrome.html

It's honestly one of my favorite mods, changes the entire attitude of the car.
