No. Its is straight forward. The 4ga wire will give you clean power. The audio side, its one large cable that has 8+2. This is so you can have your audio out from the radio to the amp and from the amp to the speakers. The +2 wires are for the amp relay turn on. That gets hooked up to a key power sorce. I may redo the key power sorce to com from the aux pluge. But remember, i you run it all through the amp, if there is no power to the amp, there is no door or key chime. And if you crank up the amp, the turn signal will drive you nuts. Let me know if I can help you out more.
