2013 Sonic:

passenger front window will go down, but it will only go down with the passenger front window switch, it will not go up using the pasenger front switch. The driver door master switch cant control the passenger front window at all, only the other 3 windows. Any ideas?

I had to put a direct power and ground to the passenger motor to get it back up.

Master window switch is most likely the issue. It is wired is series with the passenger side window switch which uses the ground on the master switch. The "up" side of your master switch has an open ground, so the passenger side switch will not go up.

Getting the switch out of its holder is a pita. An extra set of hands makes it much easier.

Tried a new switch, still doing the same thing. I get power/ground at the window motor for the passenger front when holding the switch down/up on either the master switch or the passenger window switch. However, When using the master switch while running its only around 11 volts while running and charging voltage is at 14.3. Anyone have a wiring diagram?

A few years ago I had a similar issue with my driver's window. It will open then the moment you close it will go up halfway and return back to the open position. I thought it was the switch, but the dealer cleaned the rubber window seals and applied light grease all around. That solved the problem with the close function. The dealer also advised me not to ever let any of the door switches get wet when it rains. If it does wipe away any water around the switches immediately after they get wet.
