Considering the rubber mat is the cheapest part I wouldn't expect much of a price drop.
Edit: I think I found a material that will work to create the stripes like on the OEM pedals. I will order some and see how it comes out.
From experience in my day job and my side business, I understand you can't just consider material cost; it's also the time and effort required for that step in the process. The cheapest part of an assembly can still be a huge PITA or take a long time to assemble. OP even stated, "I cut the rubber mat (kinda difficult to do in a straight line)". To the OP, saving that trouble might be worth more than just material cost. Anyway, even if that turns out not to be the case, it was still a question I had to ask.
Awesome, keep me posted. Very interested.
All I was saying is I wouldn't expect a huge drop. I am not the fabricator or seller and honestly have no problem with your question at all. Just passing that I wouldn't expect much more than a couple bucks off at the most. But frostorbit is the final answer so I will let him answer the question for you.
No prob, thanks for your input. firstorbit replied right behind you, so I have the info I need now.
grammar police: "intents and purposes"For all intensive purposes, no problem.
Thanks for the heads up, I did that one to mess with you though. It looks like this intents and purposes vs. intensive purpose is a common issue.
Thanks again, you learn something new every day.
Just like the visor on the Cruze slides on the drivers side. The visor on the sonic pisses me off sometimes when it doesn't block enough of the side window. Wonder if a Cruze visor fits the sonic..... Hmmmmm.....
Yes, yes... it does piss me off. If you find out the Cruze visor with the slideout works in the sonic, Please let us know. Might be good to have another thread on this topic.
And to stay on topic, The AL deadpedal looks great, OP!
If I get time I'll measure it and have a look and start a thread on it, just for you.
