I received all of my audio gear yesterday, now comes the install. I'll be doing components in the front doors, Alpine SPS-610C, and coaxial in the back, Alpine SPS-610. I'm using a Pioneer TS-SWX251 shallow mount sub and a Kicker ZX350.4 amp to drive it all. I'll be using a SAMS configuration, front r/l to drive channels 1 and 2 and rear r/l to drive channels 3 and 4. I'll power all door speakers on channels 1/2 driving a 2 ohm load and drive the sub on channels 3/4 in bridged mode driving a 4 ohm load. This will allow me to use the fader in the Mylink unit to control the balance between sub and door speakers.
I haven't been able to find any good pictures of the inside of the front doors on here, so I'll try to get some when I put in the speakers. I have the same door speakers in my truck for about 5 years driven by a Kicker 300 watt amp and paired with a 200 watt MTX Thunderform sub and love them. I was driving my truck this weekend and realized how anemic the Sonic's speakers are. I can't wait to get these installed!
