BCM Location?

Anyone know where the BCM is located? I think it's at the base of the center stack on the floor behind the center console, but I haven't pulled it apart yet to see.

I do not know but for reasons I do not remember believe it is located next to the battery.

Perhaps this bump will get a more informed response.

I thought there were multiple BCM's.

The ECM is next to the battery. There are multiple control modules, but I believe only one listed as BCM. Best info I can find is from an eBay listing that says the Sonic's BCM is in the passenger side rear quarter panel. I haven't tried to find it there myself, but that's where I'd start poking around first.

If by BCM, you mean the Body Control Module, it is located just behind the passenger compartment fuse panel under the dashboard on the driver side. It is also visible from under the dash just rear of the firewall on the left side (where the driver's left foot would be.)

The Body Control Module is what controls all of the vehicle's body related functions: Lighting, power door locks, power windows, instrumentation, remote functions, security, vehicle settings, HVAC, etc. It also interfaces with the ECM and other modules such as the communication/OnStar module and the entertainment system.
