  • Trial baloons are the GM way of life, I have not seen that article but that Reuters headline makes the coupe look more likely. Suppliers are usually the better source for future products/changes. -L-
Saw this article last night - Exclusive: Cadillac plans barrage to compete with German luxury brands | Reuters

"Cadillac also plans to introduce a new ATS coupe in early 2015."

Still doesn't sound 'official' yet, lol, as the one person from Cadillac they named in the article "declined to comment"... seems all the information may have come from a GM insider/executive who asked not to be named.
Yes it is Trifecta tuned. There is no difference in engine therefore no difference in tune. Unlike the auto trans, which Trifecta tunes, the manual is not.

Does the tune make a difference on the turbo 1.4? You betcha! Buy it when on sale (such as about now) and once installed you will kick yourself for waiting for the sale - it makes that much of a difference. If you add in an intake and exhaust, watch out mama. With tune, ZZP intake and DDMWorks exhaust I dynoed 172HP/222LbsTq at the wheel = pocket rocket anyone.

I have two build threads: Laborsmith Gets Pedderised + the new one about my RS.

Hey Laborsmith, I've been searching for info on the Trifecta tune specific to the RS manual and I'm not having any luck. Is your RS tuned? I can't remember. Even if it isn't, any idea on search terms I could try? The Trifecta thread is soooooooo long and a thread search for RS yields 0 results. Ugh!! Or maybe you remember another member with a tuned RS that I can read their build thread? Thanks in advance for any info. I don't want to post a bunch of questions only to find the info is already in a thread somewhere. I wish the forum search function was better. :(
I asked him but could not remember who asked me to. He said Air Ride components and that he would email the particulars. He may have forgotten the conversation, but if you refer to the Sonic RS lip built for John Smith that should do it. Laborsmith
Hey Laborsmith, is there any way you can contact John Williams on information concerning his air bag system? This would make more sense for me than coils because the roads are always questionable in Nebraska.. Thanks Austin.
In between Session 1 and 2 of the NCAAs. I would have no problem leaving Session1 early. Culver's is just north of the Palace and Hoops is just south of the Palace. I am not sure Mickey Lolichs DoNut Shop remains in business or that would be a choice.
Once we decide I'll let RS TURBO know.

Not your fault in my opinion. Wheel hop exists but for more reasons stated. Installer broke a bearing so waiting for that part, otherwise should be smooth, if the new part arrives Monday I should have the car that evening or Tuesday morning. - L -
Lol yea. Was that my fault? I was just iritated by his answer. I appologize if i was outta line. Im definitly going for coilovers. Im probably going to hve them at the lowest setting most of the time. Maybe a little above. How difficult is the trans mount?
Unfortunately, I don't know of any shops around Detroit. That's the type of thing I usually just do myself.

You might try the people at Roger's Chevy or maybe your favorite independent shop. They should know of a shop that can handle that.
Hey...im a new guy here gettin ready to buy a sonic...seen in a thread u financed pedders coilovers in with your car....if you dont mind me askin how did you go about doing that??
