Bumping this thread because I am currently devastated and cant get answers from the dealer and chevy reps haven't been helpful either...
Have a 2013 Sonic LTZ - got in Dec 2012. Just brought it into the dealer for oil change and they upgraded my radio. NEVER had a problem with my radio before, the whole reason I LOVE my car is the streaming musi from my iPhone 5. Love it! But as soon as they upgraded the radio, the bluetooth music connection SUUUCKS. It skips like a CD and it drives me nuts. And I can't connect via USB either - it says "playback source not found" or something.
I brought it back to the dealer, they said the update didn't take but they finally got it to work. NO, they didn't. And then after chatting with a Chevy rep, they basically said "well, there is no guarantee an iPhone 5 will work with mylink."
WTF. Everything was perfect before! Now I don't even want to drive anywhere because the radio sucks, its super fuzzy plus radio is just awful anyway... and I don't want to listen to my streaming music when it skips like a scratched CD from 1995.... isn't technology supposed to be advancing instead of regressing?
(ok, sorry for the rant!) any experts have an answer?? I'm desperate for my old radio back!
