no, 205 is the width of the tire.
How were they?
Did you use them outside of winter at all?
I'm just worried about them destroying themselves out of winter
I'm learning towards the firehawk as for that reason
I've heard that Winters's can be kinda crappy and grabby outside of winter

You only want to use winter tires in the cold of winter. You'll wear them out quickly in warm weather.
I usually take them off in March or April depending on the weather.
It's worth it. Can stop in 1/3 of the distance besides the better traction and handling in the snow and ice.

I'm using my 15 inch Continental PureContacts (all seasons) as my snow tires/wheels.
I cheaped out getting 17 inch tires since I just put out money for the 17 inch wheels..I brought...wait for it... some Hankook Ventus ? all-season tires ...they are not that good in the wet so figured they would not be good in the snow.
The all season PureContact though get a good snow rating on tirerack...and I believe it..they are noisy like a snow tire.
True
But ATM till I get some space for extra tire and rims I'm probably just going to go with all seasons
Not like I'm in any 4wd truck and can take on a blizzard
Sonic is low enough as is

Watch some videos on snow tires vs all seasons. Winter tires are well worth the investment. Night and day difference from all season tires.

I run the HTR-ZIII in the summer (both stock 17s and my 18s) love the grip and wear, and price ($70ea for the 17)Also to note I will be partial to firestone because I have a shop close to me and free rotation and rebalancing for them ( and Bridgestone I believe I'm not 100% certain though)

Firestone*Champion Fuel Fighter (H- or V-Speed Rated)
General*Altimax Arctic
Firestone*Firehawk AS
Sumitomo*HTR A/S P02 (H- or V-Speed Rated)
Firestone*Winterforce
Right now I'm leaning towards the fire hawk or the winter force
But I'm also tempted by the htr
Thoughts?

I'm running General Altimax Arctic on the stock RS 17s, I chose 225-45/17 this time instead of the stock size. I like the wider footprint and reduced sidewall, seems like a better fit than stock at 1"wider. At $116 each they weren't cheap but I'll bet I get three seasons out of them and my summer tires get less wear
Heck, even sold my old winter tires for $100 with a season left in them after 2.
I'd say it stretches the budget up front but I feel like it's a savings over two to three years. I spent $360 per set (see what$80/tire gets you these days) and will get three years from each set driving 25k miles and get better performance in all weather conditions vs mediocre all season tires year round
Again
No room for extra tires and rims
Not exactly racing this thing either
I just need something to get me through the winter till I can get the money and make room for an extra set

Just pick an all season tire off tirerack with a good snow rating?

Pretty much what I'm doing CX

Just got a 2012 Sonic to replace my old car that was written off by insurance.
Now I need to get snow's (on rims), and for ease of Kijiji searches, are there other cars that share the same bolt pattern/tire size?
