Did anyone else watch this when they were a kid?

I saw it a few times when I was 6-8 years old, though it apparently was old even then. The DMV lines shown remind me of what it was like when I went to get my license. That has changed a lot in NJ though luckily.

So I got a chance to do a rolling race against a dodge dart. All I can say is that it wasn't even close and the other driver thought the Sonic was very fast and impressive .

Also raced a riced out 90s civic hatch with near identical results. Not sure what engines were in either car, only that they were anemic compared to the all mighty 1.4T haha. (At a Sanctioned event of course).


Even with a few races and 6, 15-99 mph datalog test runs the car managed a tick shy of 42mpg at the pump. Not bad at all.

Close call this morning! The Lexus ahead of me about a half mile (happened to be my ex-boss) totally creamed a fat doe. There was nothing left of the front of that car, it was pulverized all over the road.

Glad I forgot something and had to step back into my house!

Not glad about the temporary switch to day shift. I like nights where I drive to work in daylight and drive home the same.

I still drive in daylight the majority of the time. I leave for work at 1730 and head home at about 0800.

Now I do the opposite while orientating to my new role.

Heard it through the grapevine today that the engine in my Vibe had to be rebuilt recently.

For a while the new owner was pretty sure the oil problem was just a dipstick issue and that I had been overfilling the engine.

Turns out it was blowing oil majorly out the exhaust, which was nothing new to me, the black soot all over the back of the car and the Vibe's quart a week oil habit gave me a clue..

Glad I upgraded when I did!

I've had CAMOGAL since my Cherokee though, didn't wanna change. And since you have them for 4 years.. It would have looked funny to have R8R on my Sonic for two years
