I don't feel as if I am accurately represented as a Sonic owner with any of the candidates on this stage or the other.

I didn't hear any of the hot button issues. Nobody mentioned the warping intake manifold. No mention of myLink updates. Where was the discussion on the moustache on the grill? Don't even get me started about how the hatchback is obviously superior to the sedan.

Thoughts?

Carson just comes off as an idiot... quoting something I read... "guess you don't need brains to be a brain surgeon".

Trump...... I waiver..... he's no dummy... he knows he's playing down to the lowest common denominator, saying things people think, don't say and know are wrong:

• Rapists must all be Mexican
• Let's deport them all... what % are actually FROM Mexico?
• Build a wall (40% of immigrants FLY in to the USA)
• Megan on Fox...bleeding
• Hillary (worst Sec of State ever...can he name any others besides Kerry?)
• etc...

However he's proposed a single payer healthcare system... tax the rich to pay off the national debt...etc...

Either way, it's getting to a tipping point for the GOP... besides Carson there's really no other candidate with enough % to keep moving. Fiorina (sp?) will flame out, she's lost other elections and they'll just use that HP playbook on her again (she's rather loony IMHO)... so unless Fox news comes up with some grand Anti-Trump campaign it's gonna get ugly... Bush is still in single digit territory and the ground is coming up real fast...better pull up in time!

And I can say that as I'm not GOP or Democrat...I'm not blue or red I'm purple... It's just there hasn't been pretty much a single Republican who hasn't come off as some crackpot...

Anyhoo that's just my opinion... not the gospel

HIlary comes off as an incompetent idiot who doesn't know either how things work OR how things will sound. Computers can't be wiped by simply deleting things, so saying you've wiped your server makes you sound like an idiot. It cannot have taken ten seconds before someone said "no, that's not how it works"... so maintaining that position not for minutes or hours but days weeks even months requires that you either not listen, or that you want to pretend you didn't hear.

But maintaining that position also requires that you be absolutely tone deaf to what people will want and what is in your best interest.

I don't care what's on the server, it really doesn't matter in the slightest to me, compared to how her handing of the situation reflects on how I expect she would handle every other issue.

I don't consider myself a democrat, but I tend to vote about 75% democrat, because most republicans seem to be much worse than most democrats, considered on a case by case basis.

I will not vote for Hillary in a primary. If she gets the nomination, I might vote for her over her republican opponent... but said opponent would have to be pretty bad. Fortunately for the democratic party, the republicans have become really good at nominating really bad candidates.

My wife and I discussed this 8 years ago when Hillary ran the last time.

If this country is foolish enough to elect her to the presidency, we are moving out of the country.

Canada or Costa Rica - here we come - if that happens.

She's no fool IMO... it's more a disconnect (on both parties really) where they choose their words very carefully, they evade answering questions with misdirection ("You mean wipe with a cloth?").. which in the end gives them some sort of WTF are they doing/talking stuff... Hence Trump's direct talk which appeals to many.

I think we're at a nexus in terms of politics where with so much social media and the ability to call out a lie instantly it's a lot harder for the old way of politics to work ...

It's going to be a wild ride!

I am one who considers myself purple also.All I can say is I hope they find someone as much on the opposite side of the spectrum as possible as what we have had the last 8 years!I think it is time that people start taking responsibility for themselves instead of living on the tax payer's money..

We'll just take our social security, IRA's and 401K's and live quite nicely elsewhere until the cancer is gone (and I'm a two time cancer survivor already) again.

I'm not happy with Obama, but I think the man is basically an honest person.
