So weird a things started, essentially my engine under acceleration seems to growl a bit more than usual, still pulls fine, tranny shifts fine, well as fine as it did when I bought it, gearbox still whines on deceleration and first gears a bitch to slot but the valves at idle have gotten not obnoxious and that growl perplexes me. Anyone have any idea what it might be? I'm gonna start the troubleshooting this weekend but I need an idea of where to start.
