Someone asked this in another post but I guess it would be good to post here too. If you don't want your interior lights to come on with doors open there is a switch on the dome light above the rear seats/center console that cuts the interior lights on,off and on when doors open.

I have a 2015 LT HB and that switch only prevent the rear dome from coming on, and has no effect on the front dome lights.

New to the forum here i have a 2012 sonic lt sedan is there a way to roll windows up aand down with my key fob? I know the cruze has that ob2 plug in thing but can I use that one sonic or is there a different product to use?

Has the OP or an administrator though about consolidating the features, settings, and tricks to one post so people don't have to go through 50 pages of comments? Might make this post that much better in my opinion.

I did learn alot from this thread, but yeah, it's long now...
I didn't really plan ahead to having so many findings, plus the added posts, otherwise I would have reserved a few "placeholders" so I could summarize them all, and give credit to who posted them. Good idea though.
Not sure if it would be best for, me, or someone else to summarized them in one of two posts, and I could link to that summary within the first post, OR, if there shouldn't be a NEW thread created with all of them summarized, and then have it pinned at the top of a forum. Only the Mods could do that though.... Hmmmm

You can edit your first post to add a list of all the tips, if you're willing to curate the list like that. I agree it's more tidy to be able to do that to several posts, but it only really takes one.

I'm pretty sure I read this whole thread a couple weeks ago and don't remember any mention of this feature.
Its just a little thing but I've seen vids online showing the chrome rings around the climate control knobs illuminating light blue at night. The chrome rings on those knobs in my 2015 LT do not light up, just the icons on the face of the knobs and the yellow position markers. Were the lighted chrome rings only on certain models or year? Thanks.

The only backlit knobs on my 2012 are the radio's tune and volume controls.
Does anyone know more about the test mode active? Like what the numbers and abbreviations mean on the tuner pages. I got to looking into it and noticed that there a lot of different pages in it. I am just really curious about the few pages that say tuner information, what it all means.

Major update!
I just found another hidden menu in the Stereo called "Diagnostic Menu"
You can access it by Holding the CONFIG + Tune (right knob) while the stereo is on for 6 seconds and BAM, you're in.
There is however some bizarre test which is "Speaker Test"...for young people it's earbleeding :blankface:

Sonic 2013 Question
Hello guys,
I have just rented Chevy Sonic 2013 and I have a short question for you. I suppose the answer is here somewhere but I didn't find it... My version doesn't have Trip computer buttons and wheel on signal stick as I saw in the manual, do you have any idea why and maybe tell me where it is??? I like to check fuel consumption, km to the gas station and similar while driving... Maybe my Sonic doesn't have on board computer at all which would be strange, I thought it is basic equipment???

The trip counter knob is on the tachometer, not on the turn signal knob.

On the Bright lights lever near your left hand, there is a menu button. It will switch (and flash) between the top of your display screen and the bottom. At the top you can switch between distances to empty or your average MPG. YOu can reset the MPG by pushing the button at the end of the stick.
On the bottom it switches from the regular ODO and the trip distance. As stated above, the only way to reset the trip distance is the push button in the center of the display. (its strange to reset it differently than all the others.)
