I really like your car. However my main gripe with auto manufactures these days is that they do not offer all the options on a manual car. Then the car companies say some bull crap like less then 10% of cars sold are manual. Tell me who would buy a base car just to get manual. I know I am one but, I do like my creature comforts. I used to own a Mini Countyman (it was totaled) and they allow you to order whatever configuration you want.
If I could get the Cruze Hatch Primer in the 1.4T DI and 6 speed, I would have been all over it. However, I went with the 2017 Sonic Primer so I could have manual.
I wish auto manufactures would take a real survey of the US and the world and really ask what people want and offer it and not just give us crappy automatics with options.
I can tell you that the people that will actually buy manuals is minuscule
Quite frankly I like both
But for completely different reasons
Autos win DD and race now
Modern autos are faster and just as efficient as well as generally having the same or more gears
Many reasons for autos winning racing and adding boost of any kind especially turbos increases said list
But for a fun car or cruiser
Manual
The problem is autos are produced in mass
And not many anymore know how or want to drive a manual
And with so many advancements we've made there's no real reason to imho
You can still get the same amount of control or more out of one
And a huge list of benefits
