so its a 2014 chevy sonic lt 1.8 190k
So it started off by driving to pick my girlfriend up from work when i noticed the car was sluggish. after i got there it started fine and drove sluggish all the way home. after it sat we went to the dollar store now when the engine did a little rattle hesisation to start and then ran fine but like in limp mode and sluggish to the store which was only .25 mile and repaeted on the way back. it gave us acode of p0016. That bank one cam and crank sensor went misalignment. Then after that it wouldnt start and sound different. SO we replaced both cam sensors and the crank sensor but same result but the engine turning over changed. mow a friend said when he was hooking up the power to the starter it spark of the tranmisson, note that this happened bc someone needed something out of the car in the middle of all this. but i checked all my fuses and start or crank relays and didnt smell anything burnt. so next we put a new timing belt / tensioner and idle pulley on and water pump, which we had to adjust one of the cams to line up. put it all back together and no change to the engine sound. we verified timing was correct from our timing marks and verify the cams marks were right under the valve cover and that pistons 1 and 4 were top dead center.. when we did compression test they sat around 100 or little over. and ideas ? soleniods maybe ? or is it electrical? i had already can smell fuel and check that it had spark.
