K&N Air Filter after K&N CAI Upgrade (Worth It?)

Hello, so I've been mulling over the idea to get the BNR tune, but in the meantime I decided to pick up the K&N cold air intake. So far, I feel as though throttle response has been improved and turbo spin up time has been reduced(on average, especially on hot/humid days). The car is driving a lot more consistently.My question is, would I notice any change in performance, responsiveness, and/or turbo spool time, if I installed an air filter seeing as how I already have the CAI for increased air flow? I plan on getting the BnR tune, just wondering if it would be worth while.

BTW, this is for a Sonic 2016 1.4T Auto.

Ah, I am dumb. I didn't realize that the air filter would fit into the original intake fixture. My apologies, I need to do more reading. Thanks!

Now I'm confused. Did you buy an intake with the filter or just the filter.
If you have just the filter, than it will fit into the stock air box. If you bought the intake you remove the stock airbox with filter and use the conical filter they provide.

Dude what? Do you have a CAI or not? Did you buy just the filter? Or just the tube for some reason? In case you haven't do get the CAI, and do get the BNR tune. Don't know if I would get a K&N intake though. I had one, and upgraded. I can say that it is a pain in the ass to install compared to others.

He bought the K&N drop in filter for the stock box.
