Short shift kit????

So I've looked thru a few pages and searched to find a complete short throw shifter kit. I am wanting a shifter replacement with the reverse lock. Does anyone make this? Oh and I just purchased my 2012 Sonic LTZ hatch recently. Still learning and getting back into the car scene. Thanks

Those are just about your two options. I have the DDMWorks one. Quality stuff.

There is at least one more option I'm aware of. It's priced at if I remember 1k pounds. That's like 1.3k US. I don't know how to find it though. Somebody linked me to it last year.

My apologies, it's Euros. It would be 1.05K US.

I can't say that it's meant to shorten the throws though. Anyway I hear the M32 transmission is popular in Europe so search their markets.

Ya I saw those I was wanting a whole shifter replacement that is also a short throw. Basically the previous owner took off the OEM knob so it's stupid tall with the one he put on. Feels like I'm driving a semi. And no thank u on the shifter for a grand lol

Ricers am I right? You could try just getting a different knob. If he already got the stock knob off should just be some twisting and pulling. That's what I said about that shifter too Basically the only short shifters you're gonna find are those two. If you want to replace the assembly ask your dealer. I think they run between 300 and 500. I'd say buy one of those two and get a cheap knob with reverse lockout.

You know, I found a complete sequential gearbox direct replacement for an M32, and it was only 7k.

Looks like I mite just make do with the knob on there. I'm thinking about cutting off the bottom metal portion. And drilling a hole thru the knob itself and tap it for another set screw.
