So recently, with the weather getting colder I have noticed a strange nose when I start to drive that is like a fluttering / rattle nose from behind the passenger side of the dash. It only happens upon acceleration, and does not happen everyday. It goes away as the engine warms up a bit.
Normally I start the car and let it run for 5 minutes before I head out in the morning.
As I accelerate quicker, the noise gets faster. I took a video this morning to get the sound and have shown it to a few techs to see if they had any ideas. Been told a few different things. Rod, lifter, bottom end, exhaust shield rattle.
Car has less than 12,000 KM on it.
Also while thinking about it, I do get this other weird nose that I've noticed when it's cold. While standing by the drivers door, it is almost some sort of bubbling / heavy water dripping (into more water) type of sound. Nothing that any of the techs can think of on this one either. Seems strange to me, possibly exhaust related?
Any help would be greatly appreciated if you have had any of the noises I listed.
