What would you pay for a custom boost gauge?

Simple question...

What would you pay for a digital boost gauge that would display (boost, intake temp, coolant temp)?

I don't want to get into the exact details of the device right now just looking for ball park numbers. right now my cost are around $80 per unit.

You can get them ELM327 off of amazon for around $15 and with an android phone and a free app see accurate boost numbers. With a $10 phone Mount your in it for under $30.

he's not asking that. Assuming its like an ultra gauge, I think $80 is a fair price. I'd love to see what it looks like. the ultra gauge is kind of small.

it's not a OBD device, it will tap directly into boost/temp etc.. and will not disrupt other components of the car. also it's stand alone so no computer needed and much much smaller then a laptop.

Sorry I should have clarified, with the free version of torque, the ELM327, and a cheap mount you can see a varied amount t of info in many different layouts and forms for around $30 if you already have an android device. So to be competitive for a single readout with a locked in format I would try to come in with equal pricing.

I think your missing it , google digital boost gauge look at the cost then add the things i've added. then post a fair price you would pay. my device does not tap into the AlDl network. $30 is the cost for a pressure sensor.

Please don't misconstrue my words, if I was not tech savvy $80 for a digital boost gauge would be worth it. The demographic for the Sonic is the "i" generation and we do things as we can afford them and replace them as they improve. IMHO for your targeted price point offer as much as you can and you'll sell more than select group.

Ultragauge is fine with me. Can see all of the above without extra sensors/senders or wiring.

Plus I can read and clear trouble codes if need be.

i'd like an analog boost gauge... maybe with a digital temp gauge in it... are you talking about a gauge that can scroll thru different items or display more than one at once?

everything will be displayed on a 2.5inch LCD. and you will be able to switch between items or have more then one on the screen at once.

for me it is how well it can intergrate into the car.... my ultra guage stuck to window..... it works just not the best looking

I use this set-up as well. At one point, I was questioning the stock boost numbers I was seeing with Torque so I installed a mechanical boost gauge. Turns out Torque is quite accurate. I'm thinking about removing the mechanical boost gauge. I don't need to monitor this stuff on a daily basis and actually find it somewhat distracting. With Torque, if I want to monitor something or check a code, I just plug in the ELM327 and done.

i've even been thinking about cannibalizing several of these cheap ebay digital gauges to make a custom stack of useful info:

water temp
oil temp
oil pressure
egt

This is where my ultra gauge is currently mounted. Just need to fab a another bracket to move it up just a bit more for a little bit better viewing
