Winter approaching is it time for a new battery?

I have a 2017 Sonic Hatchback RS which means the factory battery is 6 or 7 years old. From the factory it appears to be an unknown brand, H5 group size, the battery holder appears to support both the H5 (9.9" length) and H6 (10.9 length) group batteries, there is 100ah (630 to 720) cranking difference. BUT: The best battery appears to be AGM type with both higher current, faster charge, longer life BUT if you read about the AGM type batteries they state that they need 'special chargers' in that you need to prevent them from being charged by more than 15 volt. In the Infotainment setting I could not find a menu option to limit the charge voltage.

Has anyone installed an AGM type battery?

Update: I installed the H6 AGM battery, 100 amps more for the same price. Had to add a 8mm Rivet Nut to the front most hole and extend the top battery bracket.
