Springs on an RS

Anyone put lowering springs on their RS?

2 questions.

Do the Eibachs work with the stock shocks/struts?
Do you have pics of how it looks after the drop?

Post #7 has links to two pictures of an RS on Eibach springs and post #47 has two pictures. I had to take the lip off as it picked up several chips and when it goes back on I think it will be Victory Red. That will be in a few months when I go to new tires - I am currently on 225/45 and will go to 235/50 at that time.

And the answer to the first question is yes the springs worked with the RS struts. Install was done by ZZP Performance here in Michigan.

235/50 are going to be huge. Are you sure you won't rub?

Measuring says no rub but I won't know for sure until mounted. If there is rub my fall back is 225/55. My sense is the 235/50 will look better than the 225/55 but my choice will be what will function not what will look better.

Thanks Laborsmith, looks good. My guess is that the stock rims/tires would also work without rubbing?

I need about a quarter to half an inch to not chip the lip and in a few thousand miles I will need new tires. And yes, on 7.5 by 17s.

I am doing better than usual. I have 23K on tires rated for 30K.
