the shaking you feel while sitting with your foot on the brakes is the transmission , there is a tsb for this issue it has to do with the clutches in the transmission the transmision has to be removed and new clutches installed
New clutches!? It started at around 4000 miles, and i need new clutches allready!?
Mine does the same thing when I stop at a red light in neutral. But I have MT, not AT. So how could it be clutch responsible for this?
Thanks, I will!
For the record, if I´m going at 1mph, nothing happens. But suddenly RPMs go down to 400 when speedometer reaches 0mph. And after one second, RPMs goes up to 500 and engine stop shaking. This happens sometimes, not everytime I stop to 0mph. And sometimes RPM starts going between 400 and 500, needing to hit the gas pedal to stop it. Looks like same problem posted by Sonicpizza
Yes man, that´s really weird.
Pay attention on the RPM gauge. If the engine is 100rpm down than it should, it will start shaking a lot. I have that RPM drop in my car (difference between 500rpm and 400rpm). Also I think this RPM range is too low for a not-diesel engine.

I agree with it being a low idle. And whats up with the 3k rev limiter![]()
3k rev limiter? Sounds like a neutral thing.
How do you mean?
I have no clue but to me it would make sense for the car to limit revs to 3K when transmission is in neutral. When in drive it would be something more normal like 6500-7000.
I think my ATVs have different settings for neutral than in gear on the rev limiters also.
