Id like to see a youtube clip of the injen intake in action... I really dont like to see the pipe go over the engine like that. Driving more than 30 mins in "normal" weather will ensure heat will find its way to the intake air unless you insulate it really well. About the straightness coming into the intake manifold, its silly, once the air hits the innards of it itll start to create eddy currents like crazy. Unless you have the insides all polished up, that straight part doesn't do anything.
All over the net the ZZP claims to give 12hp...dunno if thats true. Seems really high for an intake on such a small, low hp engine. Id maybe expect that much with an intake on a huge V8.
Anyone know if a K&N will fit on the injen inlet pipe? Dunno if I trust that blue filter...you cant go wrong with a K&N(which comes with the ZZP)
I am actually laughing about the Injen going OVER the engine. How many cars can do that??? lol
Either way, until somebody does a CAI, I am biding my time. The Injen sure looks like a good solid first attempt![]()
you realize no matter what, even with a cold air intake, the air is going to get heated up a crapload once it goes into the turbo right? Thats the point of a front mount intercooler, you want the air cooled after the turbo so its cold going into the engine.
I would really like to get an injen intake and a good tune but i dont think its worth giving the warranty up for it.

Got my Injen, been installed for 2days and have to say I love that noise! Gets really loud when it's warm out. I'm happy
as for added power...none until tune
7hp gain for about 2 weeks until the torque controller learns down the added power.
