Yes, the window was open about 3cm. The towing company guy had a big long stick.

The button not working could actually could be dangerous. what if you got locked inside? Do the door handles still work to open it?

Didn't hear about that one. Regardless of whether the handles work (I have a feeling that they do) there are knobs on the doors that you can operate manually. If you have deleted all of your locking knobs and then proceed to lock yourself inside of your car, then you might deserve what you have coming to you.

We were all dressed up and nowhere to go, I was tired of laundry and needed some caffeine. One thing lead to another and we were soon on a spirited flight out of town. 'Kyrie can't control herself when this song comes up in rotation...

I had the impression from previous experiences that at a minimum, the drivers door would be unlocked. I must have pushed the lock button on they key. I was getting the gear for a mountain bike ride so I put the keys down for a minute on the rear seat. oops.
