My trial subscription is up in a couple months and I was thinking about picking up a regular subscription. I don't want the turn by turn directions so the sub would cost me about $20/month, which seems a little expensive but I do like the features it comes with.
Mostly there are two things I like about it: The vehicle diagnostic thing and the app. I know next to nothing about cars and maintenance so it's nice to have onstar tell me when something needs my attention (air pressure, oil, etc).
The app has some neat features, like telling you if your doors are unlocked (I always, always, always question myself about whether or not I remembered to lock my doors and I live in a highrise so it's a bit of a pain to go double check) and giving you an estimated fuel range.
While a lot of the features I'd likely never use (the phone for example), I think the features I would use might justify the cost.
What do you all think? Does anyone keep an Onstar subscription? Is it worth it to you?
