Not to be argumentive, but you actually can tune around it with custom code

like on the Mitsubishi side I coded a "tip-out" routine for people who wanted to vent, and it was also in the commercial tuning package DSMLink ... which is where I stole the idea from hehe. It worked quite well if I do say so myself.
A few of the old school JDM mad-tyte piggybacks had vented BOV work arounds too.
So I mean, at this point Trifecta are the only people who would code around that though. Since they're the only company who seems to like to add functionality to GM OS's vs. HPTuners/EFI Live who generally only worry about tuning an existing OS. I know he does it for other platforms, and I'd suspect he can/will do it for this too.
Like it or not, some people like to hear a BOV. More power to em, and 10 years ago I was right along besides them.
Wrong. You can not tune for a bov. There is not amount of tuning that will tell the ECU to not worry about that air it metered no longer being there. The air being vented but the fuel not being adjusted means the car will run rich for a fraction of a second at each shift. You would have to go to an engine management system that doesn't use a MAF, or you would have to relocate your MAF. Call me crazy, but both of those options would be an expensive route to go just to add a noisemaker that does nothing for your car performance wise.
Also, the stock bpv does just fine in protecting the turbo and extending its life. Like most stock bpv setups, you would probably have to be at power levels probably not possible with only a tune and basic bolt ons before the stock bpv would no longer be sufficient.
