Overall? Count electronic parts and customer service for a very tiny test equipment manufacturer.

For example,

I often count a few thousand of these.

Between running an inventory room, I get yelled at by customers and engineers.

Yep we do the xmas-new years thing also.
Some people complain and say they don't like being forced to take certain days off, personally I prefer it.

Exactly. I'm not going to complain about roughly 3 paid weeks a year off...on top of regular paid time off. Granted..these aren't the ideal weeks to take a vacation, but I still enjoy it more than working.

Must be nice. I get to work all 4 days. Four 16-hour days in a row. Days 3/4 there will not be enough coffee. I can only hope the docs took heart and cleared the place out for us so it won't be a heavy patient load.

I don't know about others, but in my case it's what I get instead of making good money. When I was in the carpenters union we didn't get paid time off either, but I sure as hell made a lot more.
