Still is a better tune over stock, even if it will make less power... I have a feeling this one will actually be somewhat dialed in and sane. Chevy stock tunes are known for being just super safe pig rich to run anywhere anytime.

I have a feeling that if you ran the B-spec ECM sans restrictor plate, it will be lean and run ishty.

My guess is that the restrictor and recal combine to bring power down to around 118 HP.

What do u think the abs recalibration do

No clue, but if it dials back the aggressiveness of the ABS, stability, and TCS I would probably buy it just for those benefits. The factory settings are way to aggressive and kick in when not needed. ABS has almost put me into traffic a few times since the snow fall. Its an odd feeling when you are slowing down and suddenly you loose the feeling of slowing down when ABS kicks in.

Probably trickling through GM's antiquated parts system at the same glacial pace as all the other part numbers.

Interesting fact: I put together the initial parts list for the kit to put the ZL1 diff in the regular Camaro. It took another year for it to actually become available through GMPP.

I checked it out at AUtorama and asked the GM reps about it. Saddly I knew more than they did and I really dont know anything about it.
