2019 with plastic end links eat tires?

Hey everybody.

2019 RS hatch owner here. I just put new tires on this thing about 5000 miles ago and as you'll see from the pictures the fronts are pretty freaking chewed up. Is this typical with the End link issue or is this something else?

I do Drive in the mountains, and our roads aren't the greatest, and I'm not exactly polite to this thing, so I can always said all those things exist but this seems a little much.

Every Sonic from 2012 to current has plastic endlinks. I’ve had a 2012, 2016 and currently a 2019 and have never had an issue eating up tires and I drive the crap out of these cars and get 65-80k miles out of factory tires. Doesn’t mean I could replace them sooner with something better but never had what you’re seeing happen. You’ve got another issue with something being out of whack.

We have 13,000 miles on our 2017 Sonic hatch LT and the tires are wearing even and plenty of tread. I did replace the Hankook junk tires the very week we bought our Sonic in Sept 2019 - - - The Hankooks are terrible in winter here.
So . . . 13,000 miles on the Bridgestone Turanza Serenity tires.

I would look for an alignment issue or . . .. that mountain driving and taking curves at speed. . ... yes, will wear tires. . . . so will running them even somewhat under inflated. I see people running tire pressure down to 25PSI or less for months. . . . till they finally say. . "Hey. . . my tires need air".

Door pane pressure or tire model pressure? In the case of my current tires, that's a 1psi difference, but if it matters...

UPDATE:

I dropped it off after I popped the right front on a sharp pothole and started losing air really fast this AM, near the office.

4x Sumitomo HT-R A/S P03 going on right now, and a clean alignment.

Have your alignment checked as well, you just invested a good amount of $$ in new tires, hate to see them wear like your pics in 5k miles again.

Swaybar endlinks won't cause this wear, worn out ball joints, lower control arm mounts, or bad alignemnt will.

Yeah, no worries! Always new alignment when new tires, and about twice a year otherwise. Lots of crappy roads around here.

Followup -

The Sumitomos are a much stiffer durometer of rubber, and I notice the feel as well as less heat squirm.
Doing the sway bar/end link/spring treatment in a week.

BUMP, and an interesting update:

I've chewed through a set of tires at 15k, 20k, and now 8k.

I mean, I know it's my driving, but holy crap I've never experienced this fast a wear on any vehicle including my 06 Audi A6, which I drove like a banshee... Mileage total is only half the story. My 90-mi-a-day drive is on pretty terrible roads overall, so that all plays into the point in the OP.
Actually spending real money on mid-high end tires this time!

The pictures make it appear to be an excessive negative camber issue, do to the uneven wear toward the inside edge of the tire. I don't see any cupping, which would indicate excessive toe. Strange, because I didn't think camber was adjustable on the Sonic. Is the car lowered? Were the pics of front or rear, left or right side?
