The Headlight Rings Pop-Off

I was exploring the option of removing this ring and doing something very unique with them, but I couldn't find a way to get them off. I'll have to reinvestigate them and see if they'll work for an angel eye mod I have in mind. I think with a bit of patience, drilling, gluing, wiring, programming an ATtiny microcontroller with an Arduino, and setting up a simple dashboard controller, this would make for a perfect way to get angel eyes on our cars without needing to rip open the headlight assembly. I'll make a thread about it later if I decide to get it done.

Keeping on topic, I like the color options, and I actually like the white more than the red. I have an inferno orange hatchback though, and I think it would depend on the color of the car. Awesome work though, looks nice.

I have an inferno orange, too, and I think black would look good with the rings just so they're more subtle. If anyone is any good with photochop and can do them in orange I'd like to see that.

Red rings on white or black look good, but the wife does not like the color red.
I see some peeps blacking out the bowtie, but my wife thinks she would rather have the chrome rings gold, to match the bowtie...its her car, so we will see.

May get to it next month or so, im just too busy to do much modding right now.

I did the rears. They are screwed in DONT POP THEM OFF haha

Wow.... I just was thinking after i read this post that the levels come if a whole lot easier after being heating. blow drier nothing too hot!

I took the Rings off and then I use duplicolor. I cleaned the rings in paint thinner. Then i sprayed with metal red

when you get them off paint them....
