Yeah. I'm there with ya. Had a 2000 zx6 for a bit. Full micron exhaust. Different sprockets. Dropped about an inch. Got it to 183...I enjoyed that too much.

i have had the sonic only 95mph so far only 1k.Had kaw. zx-11 with mr.turbo kit on it 215mph.now i have to ride honda goldwing cuz. set @80mph but it will do 130mph.

Ive done 90mph so far in my 1.8L. i havent had a chance to get it out onto a country road to really push it to see what it will do. This was done passing a slowpoke like no other. Laid into it hard and blasted by the slowpoke with ease. One day i will get it out and open it up to see what it will do. usually the days im in the section i can do a good run with it, its always too windy out to go that fast in my sonic to push it.

Got the sonic to 114 a few weeks back.....and got a ticket....FML

Unmarked statey clocked me doing 91 at 4 am on the turnpike, lets just say I was doing 120 after 3 miles of him trying to catch up and then decided to turn on his lights. He was not very happy

Haha mine was the opposite, I was doing 145 in a 45 and didn't know a cop was chasing me until I stopped at the red light. Lucky for me I was in fire school, after being cuffed and sitting in the back of his car he decided to let me go with a warning. That was the only time ever being pulled over on my gixxer

Yeah, that's probably a trophy ticket to a lot of cops. Just pay it or court? In Kentucky, anything over 95MPH is mandatory court. I usually knock 'em down... C

I wanted to see if I could beat 140, which I've heard is the cap for a stock sonic, I did a couple runs back and forth across a stretch of interstate from one exit to the next to verify it was free of debris or les flic, waited for all cars to pass by so I'd have a nice clear run... but by the time I hit 125 there were taillights coming at me fast and I went with the better part of valor.
I need a closed track, trying to find my own is tricky.
I do love onramps though, I get to go from zero to a bit past local speed limit as fast as I possibly can, I can be completely sure there's nobody in my way, and it isn't even illegal (well the bit past part, but that's a law nobody, cops included, observes)
