    Small coolant leak coming from right side of engine (opposite of water pump/belt side). Doing strange things.

    Inspect the underside of your coolant reservoir tank. Mine was cracked / fractured just enough that it would hold coolant when cold, but would leak through the cracks when warmed up. I only discovered this because it would leak down onto the radiator hose, and the bottom of the coolant tank was wet.

    Ah, a cracked water outlet would do it too. Sorry my reply was a month after your initial post, but I'm glad you were able to get the real source of the leak identified and corrected.

    The hose you are looking at connects the Intercooler to the Throttle Body / Intake Manifold. It doesn't have any liquid coolant running inside it, just air, so it shouldn't be leaking any liquid.     GFB Bypass valve for the 2015 RS

    That's excellent news! The one I had in my old Mustang EcoBoost made a nice difference, I'll have to consider another one for the Sonic. I was hoping for a second, with the Focus RS sharing most of the 2.3 EcoBoost with the Mustang, I could run the same GFB valve I already have... Unfortunately...
