So I put mine in today. Good part. Total pain in the ass to install.
As you can see by the little red arrow, that hose was right in front, actually touching the bolt I was supposed to remove/replace. What is that hose, btw? I hope I torqued it down enough when I tightened it back up.
I had to fenangle a torque wrench with a 13mm head down in there to be able to move that tubing. I don't know who designed these runs. Their placement is obviously an afterthought, and results straight out of the retard handbook.
In order to remove/replace that bolt on the heatshield, I needed an 8mm socket, not the 10mm that DDM claimed.
You'll not my method of delivery. Much more straightforward.
And then, of course I dropped that threaded bolt that I was to replace down into my engine 3 times, had to jack stand my car, remove the front lower cowl cover thingie, and blind ninja the sh*t out of the nut that goes in it from under in order to finish the install. Pretty uncomfortable. Here's the results.
Btw, what's that tube for again?
