I understand just for looks but why spend the extra to buy a colored rotor "for looks" when the "looks" only last through your first stop?? That would be like buying a dog for how its fur looks then shaving the dog bald first day you got him and he looks just like every other dog at the park.

Unless they are the same price as the plain rotors and it saves you the time of painting the edge and hub, then I can see buying them.

Not trying to hate on them just seeing if it is worth it or not when its time to upgrade brakes.

it doesn't cost any extra. its all included in the price

I assume it's just the rotor hats and not the entire rotor is painted. Guessing the pic is just to give you an idea of color.

It comes with the entire thing painted ( I actually think it's powder coat) the pads will wear away the paint on the braking surface

Some EBC rotors come with a coating painted on, too. They say it helps the break-in process. Slotted rotors scrape the stuff off the pads pretty quickly.
