I used #35 (spare) in the instrument panel fuse box ... 20amp fuse and I stuck a 5amp in the add-a-fuse slot

How is it a spare if its getting voltage? It has to be hooked to something.

It could be a spot for heated seats in an LS its the same fuse block as the LTZ so it would have power.

That doesnt make sense. lol..y would they go through the trouble of hooking up switched power to a spare fuse? doesnt sound right to me,...lol

Yea but he said there was a 20amp fuse in there..thats a good size fuse for something that isnt used

I believe I used the one for the 12v power outlet. Labeled "cig"

Here's a weird question for the guys using the Add-a-fuse... How did you get the wire passed the A pillar? Under panel and side panel were nothing but the "deep" upper dash and the A pillar were not budging for me... I hate showing wires when you're trying to hide them in the first place...

ps: I realize the post is a few years old but pics are dead...

We routed the wires just behind the rubber molding on the A pillar that seals with the door, it has worked great, no problems.

I will see about getting the pics back up, with the change of webservers we lost some of those pics, I will see what I can do.

Yea just open the door and pull back the rubber gasket around the door. There will be a gap between the a pillar itself and the trim. Just follow the wire up this gap.

Well I didn't wanna mess with the airbag there too much but it traced down between the windshield and the pillar no problem, it was just the deeper dash that gave an issue...
