this is the oem kit... you will still need to go to the dealer and have your BCM reprogrammed.

Doubt it. Id just hit the dealer. Usually its a better deal to just have them install it as well.

If you buy it through the dealer the price includes the BCM flash, which you need if you want the lights to be functional.

A dealer will charge about an hour labor (usually $100) for programming. It is far cheaper to do the installation yourself. You can take all he time you need to carefully remove the front fascia, vs some guy at the dealership who is given only a couple hours for the whole job and will rush things, possibly scratching somethingor breaking a few plastic tabs.
