Items I have added: chrome ex. tip, blk lug nuts [with 1 locking] Removed rr head rests, fender mud flaps, H-8 Yellow fog bulbs [much better hwy view @ nite], removed all 3 wiper blades [it never rains here in Nevada, if it does can install in 5 mnis]...
items to do: window tint 20%, some kind of air intake, maybe a KnN once the price gets down to reasonable.....

I question removing wiper arms (or blades). That just sounds like a terrible idea, even in a place where it doesn't rain much.

I have used my rear wiper once since I owned the car. I've been wanting to tAke it off but have not gotten to it

Maybe the RS wing is worse at mucking up the rear window in any moisture but there is no way I could ever go without my rear, and it's not like we get a crapton of rain. I just don't like to not be able to see or clean my rear window.

I use my rear wiper all the time as well. The turbulence is pretty severe on the Sonic - I get dry leaves blow against the rear glass all the time when I drive 35-40 mph. It sucks them off the road and against the rear glass.

Water spray is significant as well, to the point where I set the wiper on the slowest setting and let it run. If there's any water on pavement and I'm above 35 mph, it always wipes wet.

I don't think it would be bad if it was just moisture, but like you said.. It drags everything up. Dirt that sticks like cement is way too hard to see through.

It doesn't help that my dog drools quite a bit when it's warm out so the saliva lands on the inside of the back glass. I have to clean it frequently if I want to be able to see anything even with the outside of the window clean.

1.8L Oil chg

after the 1st free oil chg I will be doing my own changing...
question: what size is the nut on top of the filter?
question: for those that have done there own changing...
when you pop the top cap off does oil run out everywhere? or does it just drain back into the engine?
just bought a new filter from chevy $7.53 OTD...
anyone have @ Garmin 50 GPS on top of the dash? if so do you run a USB cable from the sm. glove box outlet to the unit?
