Ever since February 3rd when I took my Sonic to Firestone to fix various leaks I had going on, I have noticed that my heat no longer will come on - or if it does, it takes 5-10 minutes, and sometimes doesn't last before turning back to neutral/outside temp. The AC works fine, as does the fan controls and airflow, but the heat just won't work properly. As an example, I drove to work and back home from work - 15 minutes both ways - and the heat did not come on period. I had to put my hazards on so I could focus on seeing with my fogged-up dash.
I scheduled an appointment for them to check it out, but I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas in the meantime? Do note I have zero knowledge about cars and mechanics, so I may need some things dumbed-down. Thanks!
