2014 Sonic Clunk when pulling into driveway

2014 Sonic LT with 120k miles. I replaced the sway bar links already as they had some play. When vehicle pulls into driveway it exhibits audible clunk on driver side. I heard a likely culprit would be the cv axle. How to diagnose this vs sontrol arms? I have put front end in the air and there is no up/down or side/side play so ready to rule out control arms.

Any ideas appreciated.

The axle usually clunks when turning the wheels one way or the other if that is the issue.

Maybe check the struts for damage ?

I put the front of the car up and unloaded the suspension. When I band on the sway bar with a rubber mallet it sounds normal on the passenger side and sounds metal on metal on the driver side. I replaced the sway bar end links about a year ago. Car has about 120k miles. Do the mounts on the body side of the sway bar usually need attention? They look like they are in a fun spot to get to.
